It has been an honor and privilege working for District 24 in the Hawaii State House of Representatives during the 25^th legislature, 2009 – 2010.  Both sessions of the legislature were challenging because of the fiscal situation faced by our state.

The time I spent in the House was a great learning experience. Maybe it was the right time for me to be in the legislature or maybe not.  Even with a background in finance, I learned that when working out budget solutions, not only money is involved but more importantly, peoples’ lives are affected by each decision made.

Looking forward, I know that the rebuilding years will also require patience and discipline.  As we face the future, together with your help, we can restore the vision of a Hawaii that we all want and find ways to achieve this goal of a sustainable future for our children.

I am grateful for the opportunity you have given me to represent Manoa, University, McCully and Moiliili.  With your support, I will continue working for District 24 and welcome your input on matters that concern our neighborhood.

Each time you talk to your neighbors about me, sign wave, or canvass for me, I want you to know that I appreciate it very much.  You are giving me not just your vote but giving of yourself; to be willing to endorse me personally when many are questioning the credibility of government.  Please be assured that I will work diligently  and do my best for you.

Hawaii is a great place to live and I know that striving together, it will always be the best place on earth. Thank you for the trust and confidence you’ve placed in me and it would be my honor to continue as your State Representative.
